Project title: Fixed-Target physics at LHCb

Host Institution: Ecole Polytechnique (l’X, Paris)

Host Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Emilie Maurice

Co-host Institution: École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL)

Co-host Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Lesya Shchutska

Summary project: The research direction is high-energy nuclear physics experiments, mainly the LHCb international collaborative experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

Studying the production and decay properties of heavy flavor hadrons in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions to understand the heavy quark hadronization and search for new hadronization mechanisms in small collisions system. Utilizing the SMOG2 experiment to investigate asymmetry of charm quarks in proton-gas collisions, enhancing our understanding of quark and gluon distributions within protons and their interactions.

Served as the liaison for the Monte Carlo simulations in the physics group “IONS AND FIXED TARGET”.
Participate in the research of “PLUME” detectors to ensure the data quality of Run3.
